Work from Home Opportunity for the post of Fund Raiser

ABOUT YOUNGSHALA

Youngshala is a group of youth of divergent background irrespective of their age, race, class, social status and gender. The group belongs to different regions, and has different skills, talents, and knowledge. How best can we use these creative talents; we will endeavor through various mediums to reach to the unreached. We the youth are convinced of our Indian constitutional values and are committed to constitutional processes.

We are having a space which is known as youngshala where youth can feel free to talk over various issues openly, spend time and share their thoughts with each other. Here we closely interact with the youth through the youth, discuss their happy and sad moments of life. The primary need for the target group is togetherness, a meeting and melting point. We created this space for the target group to meet with people-social activists, who are anchoring social change processes. We call this ‘Learning-Sharing-Spaces”. We also have a library in which there are books related to competitive exams, social issues, etc. A small library in which youngsters come, read books, make understanding.

Under this umbrella we also discuss the issues which are prevalent in society, the stigmas that directly or indirectly affect the population.  Many other interventions were also made to engage more young people and to strengthen them by capacity building processes on various issues. In this process a collective of youths will evolve into a strong force which will work to bring about transparency and accountability in governance. This will, of course, benefit the society, but equally, the youths will set in a chain reaction towards socially aware citizenry. People to become stakeholders, leaders and active citizens

Our main purpose, with this collective, is that they establish their presence in the place they work in. While doing this, and working on local issues, we will help them to introspect, look at their capacities, and plan for their individual development. For us, this is a chain reaction, or a baton that they should be handing over to others during their life time, and as such a single youth is a potential for creating a critical mass that would regulate the social transformation.
